Hidden away in a secluded part of Rome lies this unique traditional restaurant. Seated upstairs, as the lower floor was unavailable, there was still an atmosphere that brought you to the history of Rome. Food was good and portion size was satisfying, the staff caring...More

We visited here on a food tour and were so impressed that we went back for a Saturday night dinner. The restaurant was nearly empty which was surprising given the quallity of the food. I highly recommend the chick pea soup with ceci pasts - amazingly...More

Interesting place, located on an old roman theater. The dining hall is a kind of cave, with things from 2000 years ago. But the food was very poor. It worth a look, but it’s better to look for another place to eat.

We showed up for dinner around 8pm and almost walked away because the restaurant seemed empty. However, less than 30 minutes later, it was packed with what appeared to be mostly locals. As it turned out, most everyone had a reservation and we were actually...More

Probably a truism, those restaurants that DON'T have someone recruiting potential customers may look less busy, but invariably are the best! Based on a recommendation from a past local, we walked by this restaurant. It did not look busy but the menu looked great. A...More

Are with a group in the cellar room which is at foundations of the Pompei Amphitheater in Rome where Caesar was killed (sorry Shakespeare's fans, the senate was closed that day). Pastas were fresh and tasty, service was friendly.

We were recommended Da Pancrazio during a walking tour. If we paid attention to the reviews we may not have booked, however we had a very pleasant experience with good, tasty food and attentive polite service. Not cheap, but if you want a relaxed meal...More

There is no experience quite like eating dinner next to a wall from the theater of Pompeii. The food is excellent and they are really good with large groups. But watch out for the cake with rum in it, it packs a punch!

Just steps away from Campo di Fiori we visited first with a wonderful food tour. We came back a couple of days and were surprised at how quiet it was especially given how delicious the food was. We would come back here again.

With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a
five-minute walk of each other, the
Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and
most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful
throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art
galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood
museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the
streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa

We walked in and could be seated with no problem. We are American, so a 7 pm eating time was best for us, I have a feeling it was busier at 9 pm. I believe you can make reservations through Trip Advisor.
