I was entered the restaurant by chance as I was searching for something else. I was impressed by the place which was very warm and friendly. The staff was very polite and helped us to order. Reasonable prices and a great menu. We have eaten a pizza (great Italian pizza) and spaghetti. Along with the potatoes and two big beers,... More

This is a great place to go if you have a hankering for Germany. I live in a college house in Rome with a few Germans and when we just HAVE to have a litre of German beer or a big schnitzel with fries then the Lowenhaus is where we go! The service is friendly and swift. The menu is... More

This is the best restaurant we ate at during our 6 day trip. We kept comparing this restaurant to others and all 6 of us liked this one the best. This easily beat other high priced restaurants during our family vacation.

Great place to eat and drink. Only looks small on the outside but go inside and there is much to see. Great offering on a range of beers and wines. Well worth a visit. Loved it.

I popped in here with some colleagues for a late lunch after checking into a nearby hotel. We stuck with the basics; schnitzel, fries, sausages ... and beer. Both the food and the service were OK but I wouldn't go out of my way to return. Acceptable - nothing special.

Just had a lovely dinner w. a semi-large group. Most had the schnitzel - and a sausage plate. I opted for the baked (!) au gratin w. bacon spåtzel dish. A tad on the greasy side, but easily fixed w. some parm, it was actually quite good. Fresh Octoberfest from the tap rounded out this excellent German excursion in downtown... More

We were approached to see if we would like to eat at this place but had already made other arraangements. On the way back to our hotel we stopped by for a Limoncello. Claudia and Christian made us so welcome and certainly entertained us. Thank you for a great end to our evening out in Rome.

Visited this bar with my wife as we were walking near to the Piaza del Popolo. The bar is set just down an alleyway off the main street (Via del Corso). It was a hot day and I just fancied a beer and a sit in the sunshine. I'd normally have an Italian beer when in Italy, but who can... More
