In the evening only set meny, €25 unless you take the beefsteak (which did look great). For that you get a load of antipasti, pasta, main course (a fantastic rabbit in my case), and a heap of cookies to dip in the sweet wine. generous portions. Other beverages and dessert are extra. Very good deal, in our opinion. The place... More

They tell you the romans eat late but if you want a table then either book or arrive early. 8pm is recommended. Many were turned away after 8.30 when the al fresco tables were all full. While you can order al la carte i suggest the set menu is great value at 25 Euro a head. Food is robust and... More

Warm welcome is the best comment I can make. No reduction in price for children, nor vegetarian - I couldn't have eaten one of the courses on the fixed price menu, as it was all meat. Told only fixed price menu available. Only told, when we asked to pay, that it was cash only, or Italian bank cards. €90 for... More

This was our second visit to this restaurant in 3 years, but we left the restaurant slightly disappointed that we did not try somewhere new. Having said that, there are some positives. The atmosphere was completely Italian. This sounds daft I know, but many restaurants in Rome are a shade to multinational. This is perhaps as the restaurant is located... More

Prix Fixe menu (25E when we were there - no reductions for kids, it was out big final meal in Rome with our 11 and 12 year olds) The traditional three course Italian meal. Since there were four of use, we were able of sample all of the offerings that night. Appetizer was bruschetta, a tuna and potato dip with... More

Found this by walking by and I could feel it was a good place. Well, at first it seemed kinda standoffish, like, REALLY, all these tables are booked and we have to dine in the hot kitchen-ish area? Dissing the tourists, are we? But since I'm from NYC, I understand to roll with it... Turned out the cute outside tables... More

The ridiculously slow service led to half the menu being unavailable by the time we were asked what we wanted. We arrived at 9 as well and saw other tables served before us whilst we were completely ignored by the staff. Had to go into the kitchen to get the bill. Nice pasta though

We were in Roma for vacation/business trip and we asked our landlord a suggestion for the dinner. He booked us this restaurant. It was a great choice. Traditional Roma food and very tasty, IMHO. Nice atmosphere (typical trattoria, so not a 5star restaurant, but that's what we like ). For dinner you can have a fix price menu (not including... More

Nice Cousy place, home made food and good service. We were a group of 8 and everyone liked the food. Make sure you like pasta al dente.
