They have wide variety of delicious flavors. Also staff is informative and you want wait that much for your ice cream when thinking the concept of italian service time.

Fantastic. Find this shop. You won't be disappointed. Literally the best gelato I have ever had. In particular the dark chocolate and pistachio is to die for. Make the trek!

We are back from our trip to Rome now, but all I can think about is the champagne gelato I had at Giolitti. We went four times in total during our two days - a bit of an overkill, but it was so great neither of us, nor our toddler, could get enough! We had all kinds of flavours, both... More

Ice cream is always grate treat, but this one is really special. Not more expensive, and somewhat bigger this ice-crème takes the trophy.

We had three flavours: crema, tiramisu and stracciatella. Amazing flavours, especially the tiramisu. It also comes topped with their fresh whipped cream. Big, old fashioned store. Gets crowded often.

If you want gelato/ice cream when in Rome - head to Giolitti's. It was SO good that we went twice during our trip. The ice cream actually tasted of the flavour it was supposed to be and wasn't artificial at all. Their selection of flavours was unparalleled, and I'd love to work my way through every flavour. There were options... More

If you are looking for Gelato in Rome then this must be the #1 destination. A perfect stroll after a spot of lunch at the Pantheon and a quick selfie stop at the Trevi fountain.

The war of handlich the Masse of customers is unusual. But ot fits. A Lot of People wanted to buy icecream. No one had to wait too long. And waiting 5 minutes is worse.you get a very tasty icecream in many different tasts. I think one of the best ICE i ever had.

Good place to relax and enjoy gelato, pastry and espresso on way back from Trevi. Best chocolate ( "dark chocolate ") gelato I have had. Also really liked the small custard pie with pine nuts (Torta Della Nona).

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
