Came here a couple of times for lunch eating pizza's outside & 1 night for our main meal, couldn't fault the food at all everything we had was excellent. It's a small family run affair where you take your time, a few bottles of wine & good company, you can't go wrong.

We ate here twice when we were in Rome. Great little place close to where we were staying. All rounder when it comes to food. Pasta was great and prices were good too. Give it a whirl if you're close by!

If you happen to be near Termini this is a must try for any vegan. We stumbled across this restaurant and when we asked the waitress if she had any vegan options she exclaimed "Io sono vegano!" She then brought us the most delicious pasta and pizza. I wish we had had the chance to go back!

Tucked away on busy Via Volturna is this little gem. More Italian than this is hard to find, operated since what seems like the 60's by one man probably with little changes to his assortment or recipes. And that's good. Really good. If you're around Termini station and crave for a typical old-fashioned Italian dish this is the place to... More

Not a very cozy place for evening meals, but excellent for casual eating throughout the day. We had breakfast twice here during our 3 day stay. Excellent pizza (sold by weight), with vegetarian varieties as well. A meal for two (pizza and coffee) cost us about 6-7 Euros. Food is always fresh and very tasty!

This small restaurant was all we could ask for. It is a normal italian restaurant. We're a vegan couple and we're not exagerrating when we say that this place makes the best vegan pizza we've eaten -- EVER; and VERY SATISFYING. The price performance ratio was the best we had in Rome and compared to the other restaurants in the... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
