Despite all good comments the restaurant was a disaster for me and my girlfriend on 15Sep16. There is only one non English speaking waiter (Achmed) - he also help the cook out in the kitchen. Probably that's why the service was so slow and wrong. In the restroom there was a bucket which is accumulating dirty water right under the... More

Idyllic Italian restaurant with tables in the middle of cobbled street. Food is great, it's hard to find bad food in Rome, but it's the ambience that makes all the difference. If you want to surprise our significant other with a romantic evening to remember, take them here.

We visited The Library on our trip in Rome. My partner booked it as a surprise. When we got there it was really quiet and we were the only ones there but to us that was better. I think its quite due to being out the way not to hard to find our taxi dropped is off right outside :)... More

Yes, getting hold of this restaurant is difficult, yes it is hard to find and yes, there are cheaper options available. But if it is a romantic dinner you want this is the place. It really is worth the effort getting hold of Dana and walking the back streets looking for the restaurant as we were well looked after. A... More

Based on a recommendation from a friend and a newspaper article from 2014 online we visiting the library on our last night in Rome. The front room of the restaurant is very misleading and not all attractive. We were shown into the back room which was beautiful and very romantic. It was however a bit weird as we were the... More

The Library will forever be ingrained in my memory, as this is the place that I said yes to my best friend. Everything about this place was so magical, so special, that I couldn't have imagined getting engaged anywhere else. Completely lit by candlelight, The Library is the stuff off movies. To top it off our food was phenomenal and... More

We went here based on a recommendation from a friend and based on the mostly positive reviews we saw on here, we gave it a shot since it was only a few blocks from our place. Unfortunately, we were sadly disappointed. We were a bit worried right from the start as we were literally the only people in the restaurant... More

Dear Brian, I apologize for your recent experience, unfortunately we had given the management of the place to a person which did not take care of the customers and did not fulfill the expectation. He has been removed from his place and we have now since Saturday a completely new management. I can only apologize for what has happened. Thank... More

This was our second of three nights in Rome and we were looking for a romantic dining experience in the center city area. Based on the reviews this looked perfect, however, our experience was very far from that. The venue is as described in the reviews - very romantic, dark, and tucked away in a hard to find alley. It... More

Dear simon, thank you for taking time to share your experience with us, it has been for us very helpful. We had placed a manager there whom was very skilled to make appear to us that everything was perfect, but infact was absolutely a disaster. We were promptly helped by the server Alexa who was incredible! The food was the best we had in Italy and we were served complimentary prosecco when we arrived and sorbet when we left. Alexa was the friendliest server and very attentive. She even helped direct us on our next excursion. This place was recommended to us by a friend... More

We had made a booking weeks in advance and were looking forward to it. We arrived and were immediately seated by the friendly staff. It was a Wednesday and there were only one other couple in the room, great for a private dinner! However, there was no A/C and we just could not handle the heat. (it was 30-35 degrees... More
