Nice food, not amazing but ok. I don't think I would go out of my way to go again. Service was good and prices were reasonable.

After a long search for a decent restaurant that wasn't too touristy we found this place which was tucked into a quiet little street away from the busy streets of Rome. There were four of us so we had the rabbit with a spinach side dish, two different salads and the carbonara pasta. Everything was very good and tasty except... More

All the food was of excellent quality whether pasta, fish or meat. Best steak I have had in a long time. Prices average for the area. Coualiv a very cheerful friendly person where nothing was too much trouble to keep us happy. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Rome.

After a morning in the Vatican we needed a good lunch which was provided by this restaurant. A glass of prosecco and the usual bread etc arrived promptly followed by drinks and a good selection of pizza, vegetarian options and meat dishes. Pudding was also tasty, and we were made to feel welcome. Toilets are a bit tired, but the... More

My husband and I had dinner there tonight, the starters were plain, after we finished our starter the waiter gave us the same dirty cutlery back for our main courses. I ordered steak and I was not given a steak knife, not that it would have been any use, a chainsaw would have had a job, the staff were rude... More

Antica Taverna is a place that treats its customers well. When you arrive, they bring you a complimentary prosecco (or hot wine in the winter), and a focaccia as soon as you sit down. The food is good and simple Italian cooking, prices are very reasonable, the house wine is good, and there are no hidden fees, so no surprises... More

There are many restaurants serving this quality of food in Rome. Good but not special. The slow cooked pork was very good and the prices are cheap. Decor is tired with the usual checked table cloths and bric brac hanging from the ceiling. Cheerful service and some outside tables

We were there on our next to last night, and had a really nice meal. It was a nice atmosphere, but it could have been improved by the tables being farther apart; I had to ask the lady on the table next to me to move so I could go to the bathroom.

This restaurant was a mix of bad stuff... the food was cold, not really tasty, they tried to introduce the bread in our accounts, even if we didn't want to try it, and the price was a bit high for what they were offering. Next time we check the critics before eating in an Italian Restaurant.

We happened upon this place while strolling around central Rome, and ended up having a nice dinner here. We sat a table outdoors, and enjoyed the atmosphere of a cozy little cobblestone street in Rome. The food was good, and prices comparable to similar restaurants, and the service was friendly. Overall, we quite enjoyed our dinner here, and wouldn't mind... More
