Very nice formal restaurant. Waiter tried to "up sell" us to the most expensive things on the menu, and the most expensive wine. Failed to mention that the offered Prosecco was included. The sea bass baked in salt was wonderful, as was the fried calamari appetizer. Meal for two people with shared appetizer, two entrees, and wine was $200

Set in a quiet residential area and as you climb the stone steps, you do feel you're in a very special place. Very warm welcome by all the staff. A lovely traditional restaurant with interesting decor. Food wonderful and great wine. We had the biggest Lobster I've ever seen, cooked and shared between four of us. It was stunning. Definitely... I lived in a hotel close by , went there three times in 4 days , lunch 2 , dinner 1 .Recommended by the concierge, the location is away from the heart of town , in a cute yellow building . We met the owners at dinner , very friendly and detailed . We might be the only tourist there... More

I loved Gallura! From the super fresh seafood to the beautiful ambiance to the great service it is a perfect venue. Located in a tony residential part of Rome not far from the Borghese garden you feel like are going to someones beautiful home as you go up the staircase to see a beautiful garden then enter the restaurant. I... More

For anyone looking for seafood this is a good place. Our server was Johnny who spoke good English. Johnny was good and regularly checked on us and made sure we received additional servings if he felt it was needed without charging for them. Overall, the restaurant was very nice. The only downside is that they put us in a four... More

Based on a strong recommendation from our 5-star hotel, we visited this well established venue on the first night of our most recent trip. We know of many fine restaurants closer to our hotel, so I was a little skeptical about skipping them, but we are always willing to make a discovery. We were given a great table in the... More

Last minute booking, highly recommended by the staff at Fendi Suites. I'm not a seafood lover but I chose to come here because had a lot of meat and pastas for the past few days. Food was perfectly cooked. Had the vongole clams for starters, lobster linguine and salt baked sea bass. First of all i'm certain that the seafood... More

We are here for a special occasion our 25th silver wedding anniversary. It did not disappoint. We had the seabass baked in salt. Really outstanding however I would expect that at €100 for two. We had a bottle of primativo reserva €45 per bottle which was delicious. The desserts were well presentented tiramisu and chocolate pudding . Coffee to finish... More

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
