We sampled a lot of gelato during our week in Rome. This place on a cute side street in Rome was our favorite. My husband had pistachio and though it was the best he ever had. I had tartufo which had a wonderful chocolate flavor and tasted like the famous dessert. The nuts and flavors are processed in a adjoining... More

Could not decide which flavours to pick!!! Massive choice! Picked kiwi, passion fruit and cinnamon which all tasted great. Don't be put off by having to pick a number, we did not wait that long and it was worth a short wait.

This ice cream shop is within a gorgeous courtyard. They have sooooooooooooo many unusual and interesting flavours. We couldn't decide. The man working there was kind enough to let us sample some of his favourite flavours. I loved their pistachio and tiramisu ice cream.

Delicious gelato, the usual flavours (fantastic!), but also a bit more unusual, such as pumpkin, sage and fruit, or pecorino with honey and figs. We went there every day of our stay and always enjoyed it.

Came here with the expectations of it being the same as other gelateria shops but it blew my mind by how unique their flavours were! It's on the way to the Vatican so do drop by and get some gelato along the way, you will not regret!

Away from the hordes of tourists this little place, tucked away in a lovely street 5 minutes away across the bridge from Castel Sant Angelo, has fantastic home made ice cream. I loved the chilly chocolate and the rosemary, honey and lemon flavours. Be sure you take a number when entering the place.

You can find here the largest variety of flavours. The taste is the best and most intense from the gelaterias in the area. For a different experience you can try the pumpkin, pineapple with mint and chilli chocolate flavours.

Definitely worth a visit. It's located on a really cozy street lined with small unique shops (antiques, jewelry, paintings, leather accessories, etc). Heaps of flavours to choose from. Tastes really good!

This was on the top of my list of places to try whilst in Rome, it was that good I went back 4 times in two days. All the gelato is made in house, and they only use the freshest ingredients all seasonal. And you can even watch from outside the chefs are work creating a masterpiece. If you're walking... More

True to flavour selection of ices but a rather surly service from the young chap behind the counter. A refreshingly different selection of ice cream flavours. The tubs do have a false bottom which is misleading - you are not quite getting the volume of ice cream you may be expecting!
