A delicious caccio e pepe, too bad we were screamed at and humiliated before our meal by the bald older waiter at the door. The problem with this restaurant is that the staff is horrible with clients that are NOT roman. The waiter that met...More

The best place I've tried in Rome. It's a great local place, great service and amazing food. Listen to their recommendation and no matter what - don't miss the Cacio e pepe.

When the cab dropped us off, I was a little anxious. There weren’t many people around ( we went at opening time) and the decor was pretty basic. A friend had suggested the place so we stayed. The cacio e pepe belongs on one of...More

Visited this lovely restaurant for lunch. We ordered the fried zucchini flowers to start, followed by the famous Cacio e Pepe. It was very delicious. As we walked out the door, we knew we would be returning once again before leaving Rome.

We visited whilst at a conference and the food was amazing. I am taking my husband the next time I visit Rome. The service was ok, but the food top class. Really enjoyed it. Very relaxing.

There was an idiom in my Italian-English guidebook that I didn’t know when I would get the opportunity to use: “pecatti di gola,” or, translated literally, “sin of the throat.” The cacio e pepe provided the perfect opportunity to use it—and to make our amicable...More

We got a recommendation from locals to go here, their Cacio e Pepe was really nice. Our waiter was funny and helpful. Would recommend it, but I think there are even better places around it.

Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
