Lovely restaurant with a beautiful outside space away from the road. Great food, excellent pizzas and make a good aperol spritz! Fantastic staff and atmosphere. Highly recommended

This is a very friendly restaurant. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Good food for the prices. Traditional food. I really enjoyed the tiramissu! This is not a fancy restaurant, but very familiar! I really liked it.

Well we discovered this gem by mistake wandering around on a previous trip, actually we headed to a nearby restaurant who completely blanked us as we asked for help so we wandered around the corner and found our 'home away from Rome' sorry couldn't resist that one :) As i walked up one of the waiters recognized us from our... One of the best meals of my lifetime! They bottle their own wine, it's amazing! So rich, warm, and bold. I need a case shipped back to the States please. There was 6 of us at dinner, and we tried at least 10 items on the menu. It was all fabulous. I would go back to Italy just to eat... More

On the delightful Piazza Sforza Cesarini, you will find Trattoria Polese. When you enter this restaurant, you will be struck by the rustic walls and vaulted ceilings. It was a palazzo in another life, the home of the Borgia family. This is a family owned restaurant and has been open since 1960. There are several dining rooms, wine cellar and... More

Had not been here for a few years and too bad...it's not as it was. The food (interesting antipasti and honest good Roman pastas and abbacchio) are always about the same., but the dissapointment was with the service. Apparently nice & friendly but then you have to wait 45 min for the pasta after the antipasti...too long especially when the... More

Found this little piazza by chance and decided on Polese rather than the other place (which seemed busier) on the corner (which advertised American breakfast!). Was not disappointed .. food was really good (particularly the octopus pie which we didn't see on any other menu). Lots of outdoor seating. Friendly service. Well recommended.

And we were able to eat dinner outside at the end of December (good heaters). Great food, great staff. Our party of 10, including 4 teens, had a variety of food and everyone wants to go back, so I think this is confirmation.
