We came here for lunch and dinner whilst we were here as it was only a short walk from our hotel. The staff were great - the food basic but delicious - would highly recommend

Started out well with delicious tomato and rucola bruschetta. But the spaghetti bolognese was reminiscent of the spaghetti from my junior high school cafeteria, overcooked pasta and sauce that could have come from a can. It might earn two stars but I've given one star for a very simple reason. When I sat down, the waiter brought a basket of... More

The food, the wine and the service were excellent. Really nice thin crust pizza. The gave us bread which we did not ask for nor did we consume. The charged us €4:50 and when we complained we were it is standard practice. I wonder what other rip off standard practices they employ?

So where does one go after eating at Harry's Bar. We emerged, wobbling slightly, from Harry's into the heavy rain of a wet Roman night. A brief discussion ensued around preferences for eating with pizza emerging as the favourite. We set off in search of food. We crossed the gleaming black band of the Via Veneto and began exploring the... More

Bad quality of "Italian food" and very high prices. 1 litre of water 4.50 euros and a Bufala pizza that it doesn't contain Bufala 14 euros

After having a poor reception at another restaurant, we returned to La Bruschetta ( ordered two pizzas the day before) and so glad we did what a delight! We were tired, it was later (8pm) and we had just walked over an hour, however, in seconds we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Service was prompt and entertaining! We enjoyed... More

Just around the corner from our hotel. We ate there three times during our visit to Rome. The pizza is delicious with a lovely crisp, thin crust. Lasagna was excellent. Bruschetta was great, tomatoes were so sweet and tasty. Tiramisu was amazing. The house red is enjoyable. The waiters are very friendly and happy to help.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
