After being in Italia for a week, we had all types of meals but this one stood out a bit. The atmosphere was pleasant, lots to look at, peaceful soft music. Pasta was excellent. Service was quick and friendly. One of our favorite meals during the trip.

We entered the restaurant after a visit of the colosseum. While ordering the lunch we needed to change the baby so we went to the toilet. When we came back to the table we got yelled at by a strange guy working in the restaurant that we don't have the "right" to change the baby on toilet... what the hell... More

The pasta was too al DENTE.Orange juice was over priced for a little amount. People should be told that tap water given is priced at a cost. 2Euro each bottle! Apart from this I think that it was not that bad.

We went for a lunch with my daughter and ordered Prosecco and coffee. My daughter then couldn't find anything that she would like to eat on the menu after all and so we decided to change the place. The waiter was very understanding and didn't charge us for the drinks at all. The place seemed nice and is very close... More

Bustling waiter, uncommunicative waiter, serving all plates and drinks over my head. For food I did not eat anything and the waiter took away my full plate without asking me what was the problem with ordered dish. Spaghetti was according to my taste too bad, pasta not good quality, too fat and heavy. We were sitting and drinking wine and... More

We visited based on a recommendation... the waiter gave us a table at the back of the restaurant, we were the only table there, he hurried us with the order, did not know how to serve the plates, did not ask whether we enjoyed the food despite the fact that two people of our party off five barely touched it,... Cosy atmosphere, polite and professional service, laid down restaurant with exceptional food. You have to try the carbonara. And house wine surprisingly!

Our evaluation is a combination of 5 stars (my family) and 3 (mine). The food quality is definitely good, but not exceptional. The location is nice and very "local", with enough space among tables. I was not particularly impressed by the variety of choices (not many, in my opinion) and the friendliness of the staff (not the warmest). Pastas are... More

Worst pasta I have ever had in my life. The dishes were very salty and the taste was awful. Very expensive for the bad quality it offers. Avoid it.

The story begins in 1899 when he created the restaurant a stone's throw from Piazza Vittorio Emanuele where it is one of the great markets of the city. In the 30's, Angelo Potetti in turn buy the restaurant. At the end of the 50s, gives it to his daughter Ilde. We will cook for more than 45 years. At the age of 84 years passes the stove to his son Stephen. After a few years it will sell, but the family story will continue as it will be one of the cousins to take the challenge, helped by two other friends. The angelino Bros were born.

Today Angelino still remains a place of typical Roman cuisine. The restaurant is located in the heart of the Esquilino district, within walking distance of the Colosseum and San Giovanni in Laterano and Santa Maria Maggiore. Eat us remains an authentic Roman experience.
