Food wasn't remarkable, service was poor (after waiting 10 minutes for the check I walked to the register), restaurant was very cold, TV was on. So sorry I wasted a meal here.

Small restuarant with a pleasant atmosphere. It was busy but the service was still quite prompt. We tried the home made wine and liked it.

We arrived late on Monday night and asked the hotel staff to suggest a traditional Italian restaurant. As soon as we walked through the doors we were made to feel extremely welcome and the there was a lively buzz. The food was outstanding and the staff were really friendly. We have to specially mention Cristina and Elisa who were particularly... More

Asked a person near the hotel for a good restaurant. Told me to go to Brancaleone ... probably the best tip of the day. Service was quick and polite. The portions were big and served quickly. Prices were low considering Rome. A must!

This place is truly Rome family dining at its best. Casual atmosphere with group tables and fantastic fresh delicious food. Price is moderate and worthy of more. Wait staff was excellent. Highly recommend you come to Brancaleone when you visit Rome.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel as we wanted a traditional Italian Pizza - and they were delicious! We went twice during our stay! The staff are friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

We went every evening on a 3 night stay in Rome, it was recommended by our Hotel. The staff were very helpful not only did they have a full menu they also have daily specials so do ask them. We had the house wine which was easy to drink. The restaurant was busy every night with both tourists and locals... More

Went here on our first night one as it was close to our hotel and two of our friends who had visited before recommended it, I wish they hadn't. Sorry but this is one of the worst meals I've ever had. I Had lamb which was a special, well it certainly wasn't very special not only fatty but swimming in... More

I don' t think that you paied 75€ for lamb and pasta ...IT is impossible!!!!! Maybe you ate and drank something else that you don' t remember. We don' t have lamb in this period but we have pork grilled with artichoke or pear and pecorino cheese (of course there is more fat on this meat) We use to take... More

Friendly staff but nothing special at all. Normal food. The place was a bit too dark, something between a normal pizzeria and a cave.

Thank Joan C

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
