Great place! Goodlooking youngish men opened this place some years ago, i think 3 of them. Superlative Fiori di Zucca ( Squash blossoms) and Pici con Tartufo (truffels pasta). Liveliest place, a lot of fun, very Roman, mostly locals. Try puff pastry dessert "tower" with whipped mascarpone(?) and crean between layers. Very popular, probably hard to just walk-in. Memorable, I... More

This restaurant was a pleasant stroll across the Ponte Sisto from our hotel in Trastevere. We ate dinner there twice. The food was excellent - on the first visit I had cod strudel as a starter, simply because it sounded so unusual, and it was really good, as was the huge portion of baked lamb. The second visit was on... More

When I visited this restaurant 1,5 year ago I really like it. So that why we booked again when we visited Rom in October. The decoration was the same. But the service was quite bad compared to last time - and the food was not so tasteful as last time. Something has happen to this restaurant - so that why... More

A cosy restaurant on the side of a small 'pizza's, meters from the French embassy in Rome and away from the so crowded touristic streets. The menu is purely Roman and will bring you at the heart of what Rome is all about ! Simple yet delicious dishes, deserts that will blow your mind (the tiramisu is a touch of... More

We went here on a recommendation and were pleased. The food was very good and flavorful, although a tad salty. Varied menu choices were different than the routine choices, and the white house wine was good. The beef stew and the rabbit cacciatora were excellent, as was the mixed salad. Good service, and the food all came out together. 4... More

There are so many excellent places and so many awful places to eat at in Rome ..... Osteria La Quercia would be on our good places list. The lamb in particular was very very good. And the white Costamolino wine was exceptionally good !

The food was incredible! They always have a seasonal special-we had the mushrooms and they were delicious! Everything was great, the meatballs divine! Francesco, our waiter was delightful and a little quirky! We liked to have fun and joke around! The location was perfect, off the beaten path so not over run with tourists, but close enough to get back... More

Recommended by a friend - first we sat for a long time before anything to drink was offered. Waiter/owner not particularly interested in recommending or explaining - not even in Italian. Italian diners were treated more friendly - maybe it was a language problem. The food was good (typically Roman), but we have eaten just as well and just as... More

Be careful of ordering appetizers if you are going to get any pasta dish. Probably the largest bowl I had while in Italy. Also what may have been the best veal saltimbocca of our trip. Had a prosciutto/cheese on great, crusty bread and the fiori de zucca. The best Tiramisu of our trip and a huge puff pastry with chantilly... More
