On a side street tucked away, small local reasonably priced trattoria. Nothing fancy good food and wine served by the owner and one or two staff who are friendly and helpful. Not fine dining but good eating in a genuine local restaurant.

Dined here on our first night in Rome. Was recommended by our hotel as we did not get in till about 9pm. Very good, the antipasto especially so. Equally populated by tourists and locals, always a good sign.

Had dinner there tonight as a recommendation from our Hotel and it was excellent. The good was great as was the service - very traditional, was like having dinner at an Italian family home.

If you want authentic Italian !!! This is the place for great food and wine "local and fresh". The place is full of locals I was lucky to go with a local this helped with the ordering as I just left them to it.

models while bored housewives hung out in streetside
cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the
cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to
five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law
firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to
