Had early dinner with family. The service, food and atmosphere was brilliant! The place is small and we got lucky that there was place, as after 1h when we left, outside was even a line to get in.

Local hotels steer their guests here on their first days, because you can’t get anything but a good authentic Italian meal. Nothing fancy, but the key is you don’t need fancy to be totally satisfied. Try the roast pork or veal and any of the...More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the Hotel staff at Hotel Morgana. They did not steer us wrong, every bite we ate was excellent. Ask for Antonio as your server. When we looked at the menu, a little overwhelmed by all the different choices,...More

We dined at the Cecio on Easter Monday on our hotel's recommendation and we were not disappointed. We were welcomed by a lovely young man with a great smile who was very polite and friendly. The restaurant is small but we were given a choice...More

Our hotel recommended this place for lunch. It began with great wine, fabulous service, and food to die for. I started with Roman artichokes, yummy! Pasta was excellent and the special dessert, a chocolate pear torte, beyond wonderful.

Great restaurant with pasta that truly hits the mark. Only small so make sure you make a reservation if you don't want to be disappointed.

I rarely give 5 stars but we had such an amazing evening at Trattoria Cecio! We had saved this place for our last night in Rome and decided to go for all 4 courses. The food and prosecco was completely delicious, the atmosphere was warm...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
