Ate here last night, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. They offer their entire menu gluten free, including a variety of gluten free pastas (spaghetti, fettuccine, gnocchi, etc.), all of which are delicious. We enjoyed the option for half-portion dishes, which allowed us to sample many different things on the menu. Our waitress was... More

Dear guest Thank for your kind words about our gastronomic offer and about the service. We are one of the best gf restaurants in Rome and our peculiarity is that all the menu can be prepared for both celiacs and not so all the guest can eat the same meals. We are happy to have had a small merit in... More

We found the food bland and the decor rather odd (large screens showing floating jellyfish). The atmosphere was rather muted. The restaurant is quite a trek from the city centre and we didn't feel it was worth the trip. On the plus side, the wine was good, the service was friendly and it was really refreshing not to have to... More

Dear Guest Thank you for the review. We regret that you not enjoyed the restaurant but it's a matter of taste and we respect yours. I wish to clarify that the restaurant is 5 minutes from Termini central station an 2 minutes from Villa Borghese. Best regards Anna More

After having been sent by our hotel to a dreadful, overpriced restaurant our first night in Rome, we googled GF eateries and booked a table at Il Viaggio for our second night. I am gluten intolerant and so far have found it hard to find gluten free food in Rome so was really looking forward to our meal. The menu... More

Dear Pawel I really apologize. It should never happen. The hair I mean. But please when it happens call immediately the waitress! I do not understand "if you looking for no Italy taste". The most part of our customers are local so they eat italian food, so... Anna More

Came valentines night and was really excited being a coeliac but we were both very underwhelmed. Average food, cold restaurant and erratic albeit friendly service. Is also a fair bit away from main tourist areas. I hate being negative as I do appreciate anyone that makes a gf effort, but really not good enough

Really enjoyed our visit here, coming to Rome and being Gluten free I thought I'd have a nightmare but Il Viaggio were great. All food on the menu was GF and at a very good price! Would definitely recommend and go again! :)

Five of us ate in Il Viaggio, and all enjoyed the experience. Two things were particularly good. First, their fish was excellent. Second, the gluten-free meals were very good. My daughter especially enjoyed the veal risotto. Overall, the only black marks were a slowness in serving a bottle of red wine to our table (it eventually arrived 15 minutes after... More

As someone who suffers from Coeliac Disease, finding places to eat out can be difficult. Stumbling across this little place was a real treat, everything on the menu can be ordered as Gluten-Free! Reasonably priced with attentive and friendly staff, I couldn't have asked for a better meal! The spaghetti was cooked to perfection and the clams were juicy and... More

The food was amazing and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Everything on the catalogue could be cooked as a gluten free dish, and there was an english menu as well. We liked the food and the atmosphere so much that we ended up visiting twice during our stay.
