I am actually writing this review as I wait for my check at Vecchia Roma. This place is nothing but a tourist trap. Also, I think the negative reviews are starting to affect business, as we are sitting here I see plenty of empty tables...More

We found Vecchia online while searching for something inexpensive, but still delicious and we were not disappointed! The staff was very friendly and the food was fantastic. We had the antipasto platter, the Cacio e Pepe pasta and the beef tail pasta, all delicious. We...More

Just called up to see if they could accomodate me and my partner for a late dinner tonight. The guy who answered allowed me to initially ask "would it be possible to book a table for 2 people this evening?" His response was "in Italian,...More

So nice to find a reasonably priced place in the centre of town!! Even better that the service is snappy and the food is good. We both had pasta dishes, they were fresh and tasty and good. There are many locals eating here, which indicates...More

Owning a business, I've heard that to succeed, you need 2 of 3: convenience, value, quality. Well, I would say this establishment has all 3. Great food, great value and awesome service. This is a family run restaurant where the locals go. Unpretentious, and authentic....More

Amazing food. Amazing value. Amazing service. We had 1.5 litres red wine, appetisers, pasta and meat courses and it came to €50 for both of us. Such yummy food.

This is a real roman reastaurant, the kind of place where you can imagine Monica Vitti enter and asks for "un quartino de rosso", and that exactly what I asked for. I have eaten artichoke "alla romana", puntarelle salad wiyh a special dressing "della casa"...More

This Vecchia Roma restaurants is good enough for tourists but honestly it is just average compared to the level of the roman restaurants. It is ok but not really special. Nice location in a good neiborhood. Waiter was kind.

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
