We chose Nerone to have dinner after its good reviews on TripAdvisor. It didn't disappoint us at all. We had antipasti: bruscheta with olive patte and arancini. Both of them delicious. As main course we had pizza as they have an amazing oven and they are pizza specialist. Both of them were amazing, the pizza base was delicious!!! It is... More

Pizza Nero is a simple place, not a place you go to have a romantic dinner. However the pizza was ok and not very pricey.

We went to Rome with another couple for a 5 day break and stumbled across this restaurant (situated close to Roma Termini) on our first night. We enjoyed it so much that we returned a further two times, once for my birthday and then again for my husbands birthday. On all 3 occasions we were given first class service by... More

We went there in order to taste some Italian food and that's what we got. The restaurant is looking very nice with the nice touch of the fountain at the end of it, from which you can serve yourself as much as you want. The food is tastefull, with very good fresh ingredients, escecialy the vegetables and the cold cuts.... More

The pizza is one of the best pizza's I've ever had and the service was quick and friendly. I would definitely recommend a trip to this Pizzeria. We went early (7pm) to avoid the rush and we were served almost immediately. Couldn't fault the place at all. Pizza's very good value as well at around €78-10 a pizza.

Outside of Napoli you probably cannot find a better pizza! Variety of choices, including the typical salsiccia e friarielli :) Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, decent prices - definitely worth a visit!

Admittedly we had just arrived in Rome hungry and needing a suitable place to watch Italy play Germany in the World cup but what a great find especially as we had the only 2 seats lest and available! The Pizza was great and with ample wine the cost was very economic at just over 30 euro. Make this a stop... More

Very special salads served in a pizza. Good pizza backed in a big Ofen, which you can look at while you are eating. Very friendly service, mostly Italien, but tried to speak English.

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
