My boyf had lasagne and roasted potatoes which... More

We visited here for dinner and loved it. The restaurant was busy even on a Monday night but we still managed to get a table without a reservation. We shared the clams and mussels to start and they were delicious. My husband then had the salmon which was a good sized portion and a good recommendation by the waiter. I... More

Much quieter than other places in Trastervere due to the location but only a couple of mins walk from the main bars etc. I had the truffle carbonara and this was amazing! The best dish I had for my whole 5 days in Rome. Friendly and efficient service and reasonable prices.

We had the taster menu, a selection of local food. The food was excellent, beautifully lresented by the waiting staff who explained each course. The recommended wine was very good and we were even gievna complimentary limocello at the end. This place is really worth a visit, as is Trastavera in general.

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
