This restaurant looks very attractive from the outside, polished wood and lace curtains over two floors, however whilst the menu is limited, which is not a problem the quality of the food is disappointing. Two adults ordered pasta dinners, neither is which were hot, or tasty, or even appetising to look at. If the restaurant had invested as much effort... More

We had a very enjoyable meal here recently. I had the Sea Bass, which was cooked to perfection and the vegetables which you choose a selection from the buffet were very flavoursome.

I dropped in here for dinner and was very disappointed. The sea bass was ok, not great, the salad, quite honestly, I could have made better myself. I found it expensive and as a receipt was not provided have a suspicion we were overcharged. Wouldn't go back.

Walked into the restaurant and asked for a beer and parma ham for appetizer. After that, asked the waiter for the main course and I ordered escalope with marsala wine. In the menu wasnt written anywhere that it was pork escalope, i dont eat cooked pork meat, and besides, the sauce was disgusting and the meat was freaking raw. Asked... More

Stopped here for drinks only as it was so expensive. Coffee and water over 10 euros. Would avoid and head further out of town.

Best meal we had in Rome. So many places are just Ok, butthis one was really great. It looked so warm and inviting from the outside and it was just the restful space we needed after the crowds and chaos of the city. Good wine list, great food and excellent service. The steak with gorgonzola and pears was to die... More

Lunch was delicious. The pizza very good and grilled fish amazing! We would definitely come back. Mateo was a great server - the restaurant itself is nice and quiet not so touristy and very near the Spanish Steps.

Located near the Piazza Spagna, this restaurant serves very good food at very reasonable prices. We ate there twice during a week in Rome. Most recently we had fish (orato) beautifully prepared with tomatoes, roast pork presented with eggplant slices and cheese, and, for the first course, ravioli and an unusual radicchio salad with orange slices, toasted almonds and raisins.... Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
