Although the place is in the heart of the city, it is not a classic tourist restaurant. The most famous Roman dishes ( cacio e Pepe and carbonara) are very good. Really recommended

We should have walked out the moment the waitress refused to serve us two glasses of tap water, even though we had ordered wine, insisting "we only serve bottled water". Also charged 3 Euros for a basket of bread delivered to our table, even though...More

Antica Osteria Piccola Roma.....e una grande schifezza!!!! TERRIBLE The most terrible restaurant I have ever dined in. Terrible food. The meatballs were served raw. The tomato sauce was extremely salty. Charged 4euro for stale bread. We are a family of 4 and travelled throughout Italy...More

This little gem of a quiet restaurant was a welcome haven from all the craziness in the area of Pantheon. Which was very surprising given that it is literally next door to ultra popular (and overrated) Giolitti's. Very unassuming, you walk to the second floor,...More

As we walked in, My first question was, "Where's the elevator"? Two flights of a winding staircase led us to this very pretty restaurant. The waiter abruptly pointed to a table for 2 in a far corner. That's ok but when he threw the menus...More

After peering through the door, we walked in and through the cold reception area, up the winding stairs to a traditionally decorated warm eating area. We had no idea what the food was going to be like, at first we thought we had made a...More

My fianceé and I visited Rome as part of a 12 day tour of Italy. We just happened to come across this restaurant and thought we'd give it a try. The best dish I ate during this vacation was the amatriciana from this restaurant.
