We tried pizza capriciosa and it was delicious. The beer is good too. Rock music softly in the background. Nice staff and good atmosphere overall.

We just stopped in for a beer, but we were impressed with the selection. We saw food being delivered to other tables, and it looked and smelled delicious. We weren't hungry, so we just enjoyed our beers. We found the waitstaff to be very friendly, efficient, and helpful.

I am from the USA and I have been eating pasta for a few days and just wanted a juicy burger. Well I found it here with all tomat, lettuce, pickles, and onions. My wife and I had a smoothy which was fantastic.

Great service and food! Conveniently located to the Colosseum and Roman Forums. There is also a metro stop close by.

Really can't fault this niche little bar/restaurant in the Circus Maximo area of Rome. It's largely off the tourist beaten track, and the menu is good and varied. The pizzas are large and very good, and the chef is quite happy to adapt to meet kids' requirements. Service was good, with friendly, helpful staff, and the price is reasonable too.... More

We had been past this place a few times during our visit and thought it was just a bar. We were tired after a long day sightseeing. We were lucky enough to get the last table. What a pleasant surprise. Nothing that we were expecting. The service was great from the start the staff were always making sure they we... More

Great service, great food, only criticism is the lack of gluten free options. Considering this is Italy, the home of Pasta I think the Mrs is being a little harsh there.

My wife and I stumbled across this restaurant while trying to escape a sudden rainstorm at lunch time and were presently surprised how great this place was. Very friendly English speaking staff, good food (we had a pizza and Caesar salad), and good beer (I had a warsteiner...there seemed to be a bit of a German theme going on here...no... More

Staff are amazing, especially Barbara. She was coming to check if customers are happy with their food and very customer orientated. Food did not take long and very good. It is the place to be for a break when you are visiting the Coliseum historic areas. I assure everyone to try this place, as you won't be let down.

Thank Marc A

Staying in Piazza Venezia / Ancient City

Neighbourhood Profile
Piazza Venezia / Ancient City
If all roads lead to Rome, then they all end here. Piazza Venezia and the Ancient City are the very epicenter of the Eternal City. Within a 360-degree turn, Roman history unrolls in front of you, from its ancient beginnings to its 21st century transformations. Whether it’s those historical playgrounds known as the Roman and Imperial Forums, or the side-street shops, trattorie, and churches, this neighbourhood packs a cultural punch and then some. Screaming scooters, battling buses, crazy cars, and lots of foot traffic converge in the area all day long. By dusk, a different vibe emerges as the neighbourhood quiets down. Don't be surprised if you find yourself passing through the Piazza Venezia at least once a day, since it’s the most direct way to get from one side of town to another.
