A 90 minute research on trip advisor found this restaurant. I am cynical of reviews from American tourists who write "Our best meal in Italy" I also like to check what the locals are saying and the detail of any negative comment. The Osteria is...More

We love Italy. We get that the service can seem brusque, unattentive, lethargic. We go with the flow. This past Tuesday or Wednesday we arrived at Forchetta at 7:30pm, looking forward to a wonderful meal as described by fellow reviewers. We know it's early, but...More

Both tuna steak with sesame and spigalo (we think it's seabass) were excellent, pasta and meat were quite good. Good choice of wines and excellent helpful service. Better reserve the table beforehand

Marco, a true Roman guy, manage this little and cozy restaurant in Rome. While there read the menu and put it away ....he will surprise you with many other dishes of the day. Everything is fresh and prepared at the moment. Dessert are a plus!!!
