We stopped at Mercato for lunch today. Our server was David. He was excellent in helping us with suggestions. He was polite, friendly and he even helped us with suggestion of where we could get our camera fixed. David was great! He made sure we were satisfied with everything. The pizza was very good and the bathroom was very clean.... More

We were heading to the restaurant that was highly rated on TA, but the line to get a table was way too long. So we started to wonder around the square to see what we could find. We took a chance on Mercato Hostaria because there was a table available right in the front, a location we love so we... More

Stopped here only for drinks. Lovely spot overlooking a pleasant square. Great selection of bottled beers and super cocktails not too dear. Staff very welcoming.

There are a number of restaurants around the edge of this Piazza so we chose this place based on the number of people dining there. It was a good choice with friendly and attentive staff and good food. The Filetto Rucola and Lasagne were both excellent choices. The added attraction of a table outside is to enjoy the atmosphere of... More

We are staying just around the corner, and as we've spent all day walking around Rome , we wanted somewhere close to home. The piazza was buzzing and had a guy playing the guitar and the restaurant was really busy, so we thought we were in for a treat . Unfortunately the pumping music from the bar made it very... More

Was wondering around Roma and happened upon Mercato in Campo de'Fiori. Don't know why I chose it among the many other restaurants in the area, maybe it was the nice outdoor table directly facing the square. In any case, I was thirsty and ordered a nice bottle of Gavi di Gavi. The very welcoming server suggested a lot of options... More

I had the best Rigatoni all'Amatriciana in a loooong time. And believe me I know what a good pasta is. Stick to the traditional plates and you will absolutely enjoy your meal. Friendly staff... I recomend.

It is said to not eat at restaurants at a square (piazza) as the food is mostly bad and overpriced. Unfortunately, Mercato is no exception. While the pizza wasn't horrible, it was simply "standard". Crust was good, but cheese and other ingredients were just about ok. I wish I could say the same about the Buratta. However, I've never eaten... More

We are staying near Campo de' Fiori and have tried most restaurants on the piazza. At 5pm we dropped in at Mercato for an aperitif and we were quickly given a menu. Then the service stopped. After waiting for approx 10 minutes we left for another restaurant on the piazza where we had great service, drinks and dinner. We rarely... More
