Used to go to this place every year for the Pizza. It is not fast service- even when the tables r empty. Pizza is good. Husband gets their pasta w/ bolognese sauce &likes it.the pizza tasted "off" and servers r SLOW.

Our hotel was just down the street from this establishment so we ventured out for a quick dinner. We won't be back. For us the service was that horrible combination of rushed then ignored. The food was adequate at best, the house wine was very rough and the prices were on the high side for the simple food we'd ordered.

Loved the mozzarella and tomato panino--toasted to perfection. And, the caffé americano was good, too! I will definitely be coming back.

Came here after Vatican museum and saw the deal for pasta, pizza and drink for 9.50 euro. They don't allow you to share between two people. The alternative is pasta and drink for 8 euro. We got this. Its BAD! Don't come here for pasta. They are frozen meals heated in the microwave!!!!

We had some coffee at American Bar at the Forum Hotel one night after eating dinner. I had wanted to go to a rooftop bar that had a nice view over the more historical part of Rome. This was a nice spot for that. We overlooked the roman forum while we enjoyed some cappuccino, and our server was nice enough... More

Positive is that its close to the Vatican and free wifi. Although wifi was slow and quite sporadic. Now the food. My tagliatelle was half frozen / uncooked, with the tiniest amount of minced meat accompanying it. Nothing like the photo in the menu. Do avoid this place if possible.

Terrible place. Service was poor, customer service was non existent and food was diabolical. I ordered the tortellini and I've had better ready meals back in the UK! To say this was Italian food in Italy it was an embarrassment. There were two redeeming features to this establishment: 1) we got out of the pouring rain 2) Was given access... More

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighbourhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighbourhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighbourhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
