Stayed nearby on a few occasions. Staff are really nice and chatty. Food and beer was good. They have screens for sporting events.

Stumbled upon this place. As an American I love a good burger. The Shamrock did a good job. Knocked back a few pints of Guinness and had a lovely evening. Friendly service too!

The Shamrock is a good place for a drink but positions itself more as a restaurant than a pub, ie you don't go up to the bar and buy a drink. It's way more complicated and timely than that. Great place to watch sport with nearly as many TVs as staff.

Loved this pub and would recommend it. Friendly and helpful staff. We tried pizza and pasta from the menu and loved both.

I have NEVER written a review before but after eating an average meal at this place we were approached by an embarrassed waitress if we could move tables because a group were coming in to dine! I looked around me and there were tables with more seats than the one we were sat on so obviously this 'group' coming in... More

Hi Amanda. I'm Erik, Shamrock's manager. First of all I'm really sorry for your treatment last Wednesday, we have no excuse for this. I can only explain you what happened: the guy at that table was not the manager, but the owner and he doesn't knew about your table's transfer. He had dinner with other customers in a reserved table;... More

It is definitely your typical Irish Pub. If you like to talk to people and have a good time, I would recommend checking it out. If there is a rugby game, it gets a little more fun because people who show up love their rugby. Drink a pretty good price.

Went here on a Saturday night for a pint and even though the Guinness was good the bar was full of locals eating and watching Italian football. An average bar and not as Irish as you may think.

Shamrock Irish Pub - Celio arose in the early '90s and is located in one of the most attractive locations in Rome, close to the Colosseum and the historic center of the Eternal city. In August 2010, The Shamrock underwent a change of management along with radical changes in terms of infrastructure and organization. The Irish footprint that defined the pub for twenty years stays the same; what's new is the food we offer which now features the most typical Roman dishes and meat and our chef's pizza dough made with natural rising agents. The drinks list features more than a hundred cocktails and a very large selection of rums and whiskeys, liquors and wines.Worth mentioning is the refrigerated beer cellar that keeps beers at their peak quality and freshness. Our system features nine types of beer for all tastes, for those who love Belgian or German beers or those who prefer Czech and Irish beers. The Shamrock is divided into three large areas and a smoking room: everything is well furnished with a clear attention to details. The pub is equipped with video projectors and screens to watch all major sporting events and an external space with a clear view of the Colosseum. In addition, The Shamrock offers live music featuring some of the most important bands, including those emerging from the Roman and national musical scenes, from Thursday throughout the weekend. Welcome to the Shamrock Irish Pub - Celio! Come visit us for an evening of fun!
