My go to place whenever I'm in Rome. While they have some of the best pasta, their secondi menu is even better. I can never eat both so I am always torn what to order. Located a short bus ride or a 20-25 minute walk from Repubblica. Close to the US Embassy, maybe just 10 minute walk. Check for hours... More

Recommend by our hotel we ate twice during our stay. Great ravioli, steaks etc. Very friendly with a rose for the ladies and some limoncella too. Watch out for bread and water which will be added to the bill. Highly recommended good value Italian frequented by locals

This place was just perfect. It was everything you could want for good and fresh Italian food. The service were really helpful. As a vegetarian it can be tricky in foreign restaurants but they were brilliant. The garlic bread was the best I've ever had and they even gave free chocolates and rose, which were such a lovely touch at... More

Really really friendly staff speaking a number of languages. Great food at a great price. All the free extras including olives, bread, bruschetta, chocolate sweets and a rose made for a lovely evening. We will be returning and would definitely recommend especially to foreign travellers.

This was just across the road from our apartment for the week so it made an easy choice after a long day of sightseeing. The food was very good (and they were happy to make a dish that wasn't on the menu) but it was the owners/staff that made is special - they were so kind to our kids and... More

Excellent service, friendly staff, lovely food, generous portions and very reasonable prices! We ate here as a family twice on a 4 day break and regretted going elsewhere on night 3! Five of us ate a main meal with drinks (incl half-caraffe of house red) with a few shared desserts. Came to 60 Euros. They bring you loads of lovely... More

Genuine service with really high class food to affordable price. Their speciality is their seafood which was really good.

Went as a group of 4 on the advice of the barman at our nearby hotel (Londra and Cargill) and enjoyed it so much we went back again. This is a locally run family Sardinian restaurant and is great fun with a wonderful atmosphere. The food is very good indeed as is the wine and service and is mostly frequented... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
