My party of four, popped in for a light meal and drink, after visiting the Vatican. Had to pay to use the toilet. Had our meal, which was average, and got our bill. We put the money for the meal, which included a hefty service charge, on the table, and were about to leave, when we were confronted by a... More

There is not a negative rating in Trip Advisor but it's businesses like this that really make me want to start a petition to add one. The food was nothing shy of terrible. I've had frozen Italian dinners from a box that had more flavor and were more authentic. The prices were ridiculous. But, considering its on the street connecting... More

Avoid!! Me & my Fiancé thought we would pop in here for a Cappuccino each, we sat down and ordered. Mine arrived cold but my partners was ok I didn't say anything to avoid a fuss so I let this one go as we was going to be quick. When paying the bill that was €10.50 and the drinks were... More

Actually my boyfriend and I just wanted a quick lunch before sightseeing. The manager seems like friendly n gentleman at first. We ordered a seafood ristotto and pasta, but he said the ristotto was not good and suggested us to share a seafood pasta. Okay, then we accept his suggestion but we forgot asked the price. Lobster and clam were... More

Over priced. Rude waiter service. Had to pay to use toilets. And the food - basic standard. I could do better and I cant cook. And finally Service charge added and on top of that tip demanded.! When in Rome.... dont do as these Romans have. Do better!

The manager was a smooth talking gentleman who suggested we share a seafood pasta special with lobster, prawns mussels and clams. It sounded so good that we didn't think to ask the price. Alora! When it arrived it truly looked amazing and tasted even better. As it was close to St Peters Basilica we thought we were in heaven as... More

Too late to wait for the food and, on top, the already touristic prices on the menu came with a 15% extra surprise (complimentary service charge, very small written on the last page of the menu, in an open exercise of touristic terrorism) bringing 2 small pasta dishes (I told the waiter if it was the kids' menu) and one... Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighbourhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighbourhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighbourhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
