The pasta was great and the wine extraordinary. The service was extremely friendly and most certainly had your money's worth. The cold cuts were very fresh and tasty. The decoration is warm and friendly.

We went to this restaurant on a Thursday evening after reading the reviews on TA. Have to say we were sadly disappointed for a few reasons. Yes, the service is slow, but we were expecting that (our neighbouring table waited 1.5 hours for their starter, luckily we were the first to arrive at 8pm so had quicker starters). In addition,... The food was phenomenal and the environment was perfect. Be prepared to spend some time here though (we were there for about two hours) since it works at a much slower pace. Don't go in hungry. The food is completely worth the wait though!

We were staying at a nearby hotel and where looking for restaurants on Trip Advisor and this little gem came up. It is a non conventional restaurant where you are allowed to relax and enjoy a meal in a non rushed environment. There just seemed to be able to have plenty of time to relax and chat. The pasta was... More

OK I hate to be the "ugly American" and I don't think I usually am, but the excruciatingly slow service here causes me to mark it down. Everyone here who liked their experience had a different experience than us. My wife and I arrived at 8:20 pm. (20:20). We ordered very light. We split a salad of orange segments, lettuce... More

This is by far our favourite restaurant. We came here on our first night in Rome, and we haven't been able to find anything to beat it. The owner is so friendly to is even with the language barrier. We will definitely be back a few times before we leave Rome.

We were staying in Trastevere for a few days and I had read good reviews about L'Orange. Its about a 10 minute walk away from the bustling streets and bars around Santa Maria. Two lovely gentlemen run this small quiet restaurant. One of them serves the tables while the other can be seen on the upper floor slicing salami and... More
