This place is family run and used by locals. Their ice cream is unbelievably delicious and also their biscuits and pastries and breakfast cornettos. Their coffee is also the best. Their standards are very high and I thoroughly recommend a visit. I think it is closed on Saturdays.

This is a very good Italian bakery, with the addition of great gelato, tasty sandwiches, and a place to get a nightcap.

This is a superb cafe bar, every day I ate italian during my time in Rome, yet an Englishman's breakfast is still important to get me up and running. Whilst they do have an excellent range of just about everything they agreed to serve me toast bacon and omelet most days. Having said that I did go for a huge... More

We walked in randomly, and found a special old Italian patisserie. Super authentic with most welcoming caring owners and staff. The locals seem to come there frequently but also many young tourists. We had a great Italian experience.

This is the best Cappucino I have had in Roma, and I have visited the city at least five times in the past decade.I try many new options, including those touted on tourist sites, but I always return to Lotti for my duppio. The wait staff is charming while also expert. One feels like they are returning "home," even after... More

I came to this place on a Sunday morning at 10am. The smell of coffee and pastries is great. I sat outside and ordered an espresso coffee and a capuccino with a cornetto with cream (croissant). All was gorgeous. I highly recommend this place.

Told my son in law, must have gelato! He is now hooked. Quite night in Rome, this shop is a gem with friendly helpful staff, great deserts and gelato "to die for"! To many flavors to choose from, plan on 2 visits

We love this family run cafe and visit often. The pastries are really the best, whether you choose the breakfast goodies, cakes or biscuits. Coffee is delicious. And it is used by locals. This is a typical old style neighbourhood cafe. And it is first rate.

Went here on my last night in Rome! It was a shame we didn't find it sooner, because the place looks so classic! They serve food, patisserie and gelato all day! My favourite gelato was the hazelnut one, and you should definitely try! The pastry was also not too sweet but was very good indeed! Didn't get to try their... More

Stopped off for some light refreshments I had a americano coffee got to say I think it was the best in Rome 👍 My wife had freshly squeezed orange juice, very refreshing. We met the owner she was very nice and polite and she gave us complementary biscuits. I will be defiantly going back.

Thank Rich W

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
