Stayed 3 doors down from this restaurant. Went there every night of our stay ( 4 nts) as the food was so good and Marco the waiter so welcoming. Served gluten free food too which was a huge plus. Thank you.

The food was always delicious; the waiters were always prompt and attentive and the food was reasonably priced. It was close to our hotel, but that's not the main reason we kept returning. We kept coming back because it was so good!! A normal meal cost us between €35-40. No one hurried us to leave, but let us take our... More

On a weeks visit to Rome we came upon this small trattoria on our second day and went there another three times. Good food (No pizzas). Local wine by the carafe. Service excellent. Clean. Will go there again if we're in Rome

Ristorante tre Archi is very close to our hotel while we were visiting Rome. The owner invited us to try out the restaurant very friendly while we walked by, so we went there one night. There were 4 of us. But since we just got off from a 4-hour train trip and were a bit tired, so we weren't very... More

Good abundant food at a reasonable price. €14 buffet of grilled vegetables, saffron rice ect. (A meal in itself) + Drink- beer/water/s.drink. Large Pizza and a dessert to die for: Panna cotta/tiramisu/cream caramel. Plus service with a smile.

This Restaurant was recommended to us from the hotel that we were staying in and it was a close walk which we appreciated having walked all day. We choose the meat menu and the spaghetti ala carbonara was one of the best ones me and my son have had. The pomodore e basil spaghetti that my daughter had was also... More

Amazing place, food was beautiful with a great wide selection. Fresh local produce. The staff are really amazing, friendly and welcoming. This place is well worth a visit and the price is very reasonable in comparison to prices beside the popular tourist attractions. Marco the waiter, extremely friendly. If you're going past, stop in, you won't be disappointed.

Service is good and friendly but it's certainly not a destination worth seeking out. Good for a coffee but there are a lot of other places that are good for coffee that are in much nicer loactions.

We chose this restaurant because it wasn't far from our hotel, just 5 minutes. We celebrate a romantic anniversary and staff were very attentive. We tried sea food menu and was great!!! Very good choise!

My family and I were traveling all day, sight seeing and flying. We were tired and were looking for a local restaurant and stumbled upon this little gem. The food was fresh and plentiful, the servers were very courteous and attentive. We git the "Italian" antipasto and it was so delicious. My son got an individual pizza and it came... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
