I love this cafe. Every time when go to Rome go there to drink cafe or aperitif. The via Frattina is a nice road and the people walking and shopping. I love it.

Worst gelateria of Rome! Worst service ever... very unpleasant, unprofessional and the ice cream doesn't taste very well.

A whole week in Rome. After long walks every day we choose this bar to relax. Near Spanish steps, a little bit expensive but it worth. The best marocchino coffee and the service was good and quick. Perfect place for people watching and relax after long and hot day .

We visited this twice both in the day time. The spaghetti was really nice. On our initial visit the service was brisk and relatively friendly. My friend had the salad which was a good size however bland with no offer of a dressing - the prawns had not been veined. On our second visit my friend had the spaghetti I... More

Near Spanish steps, therefore touristy and expensive. Service quick and efficient. Good for people watching and relax after/ between sightseeing for a quick coffee and bite. Nothing special.

After visiting the Spanish Step & a bit of window shopping we settled for a beer (or 2), made more comfortable by heaters and our waiter bringing us some free nibbles. How nice to relax and watch the world go by.

We were hungry, after shopping in the area, and stumbled upon this great spot. The seating outside was completely full so we figured it must be good. The pizza we noticed after were frozen(indicated on menu, so did not take star off for that), as it was nothing special, and not great at all. However my wife had the pomodoro... More

We loved this place! With the drinks we ordered we got some snacks with them (for free) which was a nice touch! Very reasonable prices!

Bar Frattina in Via Frattina is a great place to stop for a 10am or 3pm espresso hit. I've lived in Rome long enough to know that I do what the Romans do and that is to have un caffe at least 3 times a day. That short changes the locals, but after the age of 45, that's it for... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
