Went in for food, it was fine, nothing earth shattering. Good selection of wines, probably good place for groups to visit.

Walking home to our B&B and fell upon this bar! Looks nothing from the outside, just 2 small doors. When you go in, it's huge! It looks like an underground cellar, plenty of room, tv's and great music. Friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble and open until 2am every morning! Loved it.

This is certainly a good find as there are not many pubs about in Rome. In England I wouldn't have given it such a high rating as it's basically a cellar sports bar but handy to find all the same. We didn't try the food but did see happy customers with burgers and pizzas.

We visited this place twice during out trip to Rome. Both the beer (Heineken and Guinness) were excellent but the highlight for us was the food with awesome burgers. It was five mins from our hotel so super handy.

It's hard enough to find a good pub in Rome but this one was great. It's off the beaten track a bit but worth looking for. It's big and spacious and always something going on. Staff were really nice too, had time for a chat always :)

They had run out of Murphy's and there was no fish and chips on the menu. We did get burgers and watch some football, but the place was tired and need some updates. None the less we had burgers and fries and I would rate them as average and say it would likely be better for lunch.

I stumbled across this place enroute to the vatican. Inside is spacious but there was only a couple of people in the bar. The service was ok, but could have been a lot better. The waiters seemed to care more about having a chat with their mates than doing their job. This place has a lot of potential...

Wow what a find, friendly staff, good menu( the chips are worth a visit) it took awhile to get the gin and tonic sorted however the food was fresh, tasty and well presented. The best was how cheap it was, I was told that Rome was very expensive and it can be as you will see from my other review... More

Rome is full of great!!! Pubs restorantes pizzerias and ice cream shops. I did a mistake and went into the scotish pub without looking at the poor score the pub has. It looks nice but the service is horible the owner is or the manager on duty (I do not know how he was) is not nice when it comes... More

After a long day at the Vatican we popped in here. I noticed the McEwans logos first, there seemed to be two entrances, only one being used. Felt like a cellar bar, and very large, but only two tables were being used by local diners. I had a nice pint of Guinness. On leaving I mentioned to the barman that... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
