Went for a family lunch and have known the place for fifteen years. Had multiple birthdays there and always ignored some of the bad reviews. This time though I thought they had frankly hit an intolerable low. The place is divided in three adjoined establishments. We went to the more expensive one, the upstairs restaurant. We paid a healthy amount... More

OMG! A Panuozzi at Gusto ristorante at Piazza Augusto Imperaore 9 was the most fantastic sandwich I have ever had. Eaten on the last day of my stay in Rome. The sandwich is actually made with Pizza dough, olive oil drizzled on top and inside, the contents comes in quite a few varieties. I ordered Buffalo mozzarella, salted tomatoes, basil,... More

The food was just ok for the price! We ate pizza and pasta, wine and a beer, all worth 39 euros, but we were charged 49 euros: 6 euros for service and 2 for bread and 2 for water, bread and water that we did not receive and those 6 euros of service is a rip off and should be... More

We had our first dinner in Rome at Gusto out of the our Airbnb host's recommendation. The food was of average quality and the service was awful. Upon arrival, we sat outside and were left at the table for a long time unattended. We eventually had to go in to find our waiter to take our order. Then there was... More

Stopped in for lunch on a whim. Lovely atmosphere where we sat outside. I stepped outside of my comfort zone and tried the tortelli with pumpkin. It was fantastic! My husband got a sandwich with buffalo mozzarella & sausage~ to die for! Reasonable prices as well. I'd definitely go back.

We wanted authentic Italian food, and that's what we got, courtesy of the top10 guide book. But I'll tell you now, never in my life have I worked so damn hard fo a calzone. They were hiding the menus from us, trying to avoid giving us any balsamic vinegar and kept going for a stroll when we tried to order.... More

We went here late on a Tuesday night (around 7:30pm-10pm) and sat outside next to a heater. There was one waiter serving us as there were not many people sat outside. He was quite reserved to say the least but his service was good, despite not offering any seasonings (i.e. salt, pepper, olive oil etc.) meaning we had to get... More

We had a pumpkin ricotta appetizer--very nice. Eggplant pasta was also very good. Pork tenderloin medallions were wonderful. Desserts quite extraordinary--we tried three.
