Well where shall I start. Last night was the first time here since our last visit about 3 years ago. It was average then but thought we would give it another try. Food was ok if not rather overpriced. One young bald headed waiter was...More

We stopped in here early afternoon to sit outside and have a drink and light meal. I had a tom collins (great for a hot day) and carpaccio. My husband had a salad and wine. I had dessert and coffee also. Very good breadbasket for...More

Arrogant service, The food is not worth the prices. We have eaten in much better places in Rome with reasonable price and good service. Avoid eating there

The food was actually really good, but its so ridiculously overpriced- $12 for a coke is laughable. I do not care that the area is “upscale.” Another thing that bothered me is that after we paid, the waiter told us that gratuity could only be...More

We stumbled on to this place completely by accident at the end of a long day of walking. We ordered a couple glasses of wine and thoroughly enjoyed talking with a couple who sat down next to us. They were also from California. So, one...More

The food and service at this restaurant are very good. The ambience is pleasant and relaxed. It is slightly pricey, but I think well worth it.

Popped in for a drink on my way out of the park. Great service and enjoyed a nice mini plate of pastries that came with my coffee.

Encouraged by guests, requests are filled and many locals sing along. We enjoyed a first course and champagne cocktails late one night with plenty of others.

I just want to say I rarely write a bad review, however...The massive crowds in Rome, especially around the Trevi Fountain gave us the opportunity to escape to Harry's bar. Yes it is high end, and as we sat in the small bar area I...More

Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and
Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a
posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and
models while bored housewives hung out in streetside
cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the
cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to
five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law
firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to

I wore one because it was chilly outside. There were guys wearing them in the Venice location but not everyone had one on. The Rome location was mostly guys without sports coats.

Reservation is recommended, if you want a table for dinner and to receive the best attention. It's not needed for aperitives. Dress code: Smart casual during the day and suit in the evening.

The iconic Harry's Bar Rome, the unique place that evokes the "Dolce Vita" as if it was a frame taken from the famous film, creating a vivid flashback to the golden age of Via Veneto, when Frank Sinatra sang at the piano and all the stars showed off in this bar/restaurant full of glamour and style. As in the roaring sixties, you can still drink an aperitif, enjoy the live piano bar every evening and dive into the magic of Via Veneto from the exclusive and fascinating Harry's Bar. The refined cuisine recalls the freshness of Mediterranean flavours based on prime ingredients. Tradition and fantasy inspire the elegant dishes of the menu, accompanied by the most prestigious labels and a high class service.
