The four of us arrived here for an 8pm dinner and the hotel and restaurant were beautiful. The view from our terrace table was breathtaking and seemed perfect for our occasion which was one of the ladies' 50th birthday celebrations. That's where the enjoyment ended....More

I reserved Mirabelle days in advance seeing the good reviews here, but I am not sure what the fuss is about. The restaurant has a stuffy and slightly pretentious atmosphere, and with the old-fashioned decor and uptight appearance of the servers, I felt like I...More

This is a only tourist restaurant, lets be clear about this. The place is really charming, beautifully decorated with amazing views of Rome. Most of the diners are honeymooners or couples on a romantic trip. Service is real good, food is average, prices are steep!...More

We ate dinner here on our anniversary. Service was good, not great. We had 5 different people tend to us, felt a little impersonal. They spoke very little as they interacted with us. The food was okay, just okay. I had the cod and it...More

We heard all good things about this restaurant including the views and booked a table on the terrace- however, upon arrival, we were seated indoors with very limited views of the city. The service was extremely slow- we felt as though the servers passed us...More

The service was phenomenal, the views are to die for and the food is very good. I say very good, as it was perhaps not my favorite meal I had in Italy, but was, nonetheless, delicious. They were eager to keep us happy, I did...More

Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and
Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a
posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and
models while bored housewives hung out in streetside
cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the
cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to
five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law
firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to

I would anticipate a cost of between $200 - 250 per person which of course depends on wine selection.

Mirabelle restaurant in Rome is a Michelin-starred, gloriously lavish, exceeds-all-expectations superstar. The mirrored seventh-floor dining room with its sumptuous pale gold dcor and elegant crystal and china frames a magical rooftop view of the Eternal City. Chef Stefano Marzetti uses superbly-sourced ingredients for haute cuisine dishes like artfully-presented seabass tartare with fennel salad and orange, oven-baked rack of lamb pre-sale with rosemary, and the famous Settimo Cielo Seventh Heaven dessert. The excellent wine list is mostly Italian with some heavy hitters from beyond. Manager Bruno Borghesi, formerly of The Ritz, leads formal, friendly service, attracting jet setters, politicians and other beautiful people. Wear a jacket and be ready to have your senses ravished.
