This is a very nice hotel for locals. Delicious food and friendly staff. They don't speak English but had an English menu. We were able to communicate very good. Will go there again

The pizzas were excellent. But don't forget to try fried: the cod and the pumpkin flowers deserve to go just for them. And the price, second to none.

Roughneck service and pizzas coming off the line perfect and identically fired time after time. Order by ticking off the menu or the big men in t-shirts will not be nice to you. No reservations; you wait on the sidewalk with wine if you want; no biases even toward Lazio fans. If you don't like this place, it's because you... More

I didn't understand a word they said but were so friendly it didn't matter. 22 euros for two delicious pizzas and half a litre of wine . Amazing!

There were a few pros and cons of my visit here recently. Firstly, we were seated quickly for a Friday night and service was quite quick as well. The prices are fairly reasonable and the pizza tasted really nice and if you don't finish it all you can take it away. The restaurant also has a really nice family feel.... More

Fantastic, truly authentic Italian pizzeria. The pizza is stone baked freshly and is a true taste of what an Italian pizzeria should be.

I am reluctantly giving Remo 5 stars because I want to keep it a secret! No frills dining, but very tasty, thin-based pizza. The staff are no nonsense; they are attentive but leave you to eat in peace. Be prepared to wait if you arrive at peak dinner time (8-9:30) but only ten minutes and it's totally worth it. We... Delicious pizzas in an authentic atmosphere, get there early to avoid a queue, and try the house red.

Staying in Testaccio

Neighbourhood Profile
Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio, an ancient Roman port and former working class neighbourhood where the bass is set to high almost every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche (nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club hit, the area is full of locally owned small businesses and has one of the city's larger produce markets.
