The owner of our hotel has a list of "must eat" restaurants. When we told him we had a tour of the Colusseum, he immediately booked a reservation for us to dine here for lunch. We shared a meat ravioli in cream sauce with goose pate, it was delicious! I had the veal meatloaf and my husband the beef. It... More

I really liked this place. The waiters are superfriendly and professional and I had the most amazing gnocchi alle vongole (gnocchi with clams). I also really like the fiori di zucchini (fried courgette flowers filled with cheese). We got some other small dishes our antipasti platter I wouldn't recommand (fried codfish, artischoke). The platter itself was also a bit overpriced... More

We were here for lunch. It was our best meal we had in Rome. We started with the Ravioli di burrata e ricotta al pomodoro (Burrata and ricotta cheese ravioli with tomato sauce) and the Gnocchi al rage di vitello e tartufo (gnocchi with veal ragout and truffle). Both were excellent. For mains we had the Stinco di maiale arrosto... More

Ate here on a Sunday evening at 7:30pm which was when they opened that night. Had our hotel make reservations a few days prior which is a good thing as there was a small group of people waiting to get in when we arrived shortly before they opened. All of them were turned away as they were fully booked that... More

We booked this restaurant based on reviews we had read and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was fully booked so we were glad we had reserved and it soon became clear why it was so popular. The food was just delicious. Highlights included the aubergine parmigiana, the lamb chops and the panecotta with pistachio - which was perhaps the... More

My husband and I first visited this restaurant in 2009. Since then we have told countless friends to visit and we finally got a chance this month to go back and we were not disappointed. Aldo worked his magic in suggesting the most amazing starters and pasta. The house wine was very good and the atmosphere was warm and cozy.... More

I was planning to eat in this beautiful restaurant while we were visiting Rome and I am glad we did. We were lucky to get a table at lunchtime (make sure you book before hand). The staff are really nice, the food is very delicious and the restaurant is a place to remember. They are serving food for four generation... More

One of our top three meals during our two week trip to Italy. Recommended by our guide, we were lucky to grab a table outside without reservations. We had the bruschetta amatriciano for the appetizer. My wife had the Gricia and I had the Bucatini Amatriciano. All three were delicious. Service and atmosphere were great. Our guide told us this... So good, we ended up here twice during our week in Rome. Excellent service by a brother and sister team who rock! Excellent food, great atmosphere in a surprising location. Would suggest this to anyone. They'll make what you like if you don't see it, and the specials are awesome. The lemon sorbetto was awesome and not in the menu.... More

We were in Rome with our three small children and my brother for Triduum and Easter, and booked a table here to have our cena di Pasqua after several days of traipsing around the city on fast-and-abstinence rations. We chose wisely. The staff was extremely accommodating, not only in general but also of our party not arriving all at the... More
