We were staying near Palatium restaurant and it was really nice to have a restaurant with this type of quality just five minutes away. We visited the place three times and had dinner. Every time was delightful. From their pasta dishes to their meat. Thanks...More

The best part of this restaurant is its decoration; that and the focus on regional fare drew us in. We were disappointed. The other negative reviews pretty much say it all: for example, I watched the staff play with their smart phones while I tried...More

The food was cold and quite scarce for the price. The service did not exist and the bathroom was at the state of a train station not a restaurant. Worst experience in Rome, there are tons of better places to go. A shame.

Despite being in the '13/14 edition of the slow food guide, was very disappointed by our visit. This place has a kind of brightly lit, shiny surface, cold, modern, high contrast vibe going on. Service was pretty inattentive, we had to ask for menu's, ask...More

We booked a five-night stay in Rome at the Residenza Frattina town house (by the way an exellent stay), and on our last evening we didn't want to go dining out far, so we went to Palatium and it was absolutely the most horrific experience...More

We went to this restaurant based on reviews. True it is close to the Spanish Steps, but other than that the reviews were very wrong. As we walked in we were immediately sent upstairs because we had no reservation, to an extremely sterile and uninviting...More

The food at Palatium was amazing. The clam gnocchi is the best gnocchi I have ever eaten! It was fairly easy to find, and became quite busy; luckily we called ahead and reserved a table. We had some local wine, which was delicious, and felt...More

Palatium Enoteca Regionale - Via Frattina, 94 Rome I wrote “never again” in my last review of this restaurant. Our first visit several years ago was amazing; impossible to fault. The following year the experience was unforgettably bad, and we crossed it off our list,...More

Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields
to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most

Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with
enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s
best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a
