Waiters very friendly and made the language barrier so much easier for us- which was relieving. Food is lovely- presented well. If you like seafood this place is for you. Although I ordered shrimp cocktail and mozzarella and tomato pasta which was still tasty. Fast service

A lovely restaurant run by the same people for 46 years, really friendly and welcoming! Great food! I'm not a massive fan of fish, but it was good! I recommend this to any fish lover! And the cost wasn't as bad as some reviewers have stated! Wine, 2 starters, 2 mains... €43

We stayed at a hotel nearby so I figured this one out on Google app. It was fantastic! The waitress doesn't speak much English but you can totally communicate as the service is excellent. We had one dish of spaghetti with pulp of crabs and mix grill seafood dish for 2 people, and we loved the food. We were offered... More

What a delightful meal! This is a place we definitely felt comfortable putting ourselves in the hands of our server, a man who helped us select a fresh fish that was then cooked and filleted at the side of our table. Very good Sardinian wine. Each course was delicious, and when we asked for grappa and vin santo for dessert,... More

I found this place as my boyfriend wanted to find a seafood place local to where we were staying. It was a good choice. Both food and service was great - and a decent price. We decided to go back the day before we flew as we wanted to try the fish another table ordered. We unknowingly turned up to... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighbourhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
