Wanting a quick and easy dinner, we stopped into La Montecarlo. This restaurant has several dining areas including outside dining (weather permitting). We were seated in the first dining room as you come in near the kitchen. We enjoyed where we sat as it was interesting to see what came out of the kitchen. The restaurant filled up quickly with... The staff and the food were fabulous. The pizzas and pasta were authentic and nothing we wanted was too much trouble. Would recommend

My wife and I went to La Montecarlo last evening as it was close to the apartment we have while we are in Rome. The place is great – they gave us a table with a view of the kitchen which was in a quiet area, so that we could carry on a normal conversation. The staff were wonderful –... More

Went here for a late dinner in mid-december 2016. Service was incredibly fast, pizza was good and atmosphere as an Italian pizza place should be. Try the suppli as well!

Welcome by cheap looking tables and chairs, pizzeria was very busy with tourists and Italians. Menu in many languages. My pizza was €10 and was ok, the tomato sauce tasted too much 'out of a can'. Pizza is served on a metallic plate. 1/4 wine is €2.50 and tiramisu was €4.00 Overall was ok but not that impressed by the... More

So, we were in Rome, and we naturally wanted pizza.....what with there being literally hundreds of places that sell pizza, where to go? whats good? Well this place is good ! very good. We chose here primarily because I'm a Morrissey fan, and theres a famous photo of him here. So we used that as our deciding reason on which... More

Lovely Italian pasta and pizza. Very tasty. Although her fathers pizza does take the prize on this one. But definitely worth visiting. Pasta great. Relatively inexpensive but it does have a canteen sort of feel. Clean and good location.

First of all, do NOT listen to a single negative review anyone writes! I will happily rebut everyone right now: people said the staff was rude - completely untrue! The staff was wonderful and we have been there on more than one occasion, both busy and not. If people think that, it may be because not all of the waiters... More

The food was fantastic, the service was excellent. Definitely a great place to go while visiting Rome. A local hangout so you know the food has to be good. The prices are great as well. I will be back👍

We ordered two pizzas and two carbonara, with two glasses of red wine. Its not only really delicious, but also really cheap, the bill was only €40. Definitely worth a visit!
