Compared to the first night in Rome, this was excellent. Good, simple food, freshly cooked, served hot. Good, none intrusive service. This is not a pretentious establishment, just simple honest food. Enjoyable evening.
Tired at the end of our first day in Rome, we were not prepared to explore, so plumped for one of the many rather ordinary 'tourist' restaurants north of the Pantheon. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sevice and the food.
