The design of the restaurant is very "old school". The menu is HUGE, but the plates are actually quite similar - working with few ingredients. We had pizza, pasta and fried sea food mix. It was our first lunch in Rome, we chose this restaurant...More

The food here was nothing speciel, and the waiters seemed indifferent to the customers, and they looked liked they really hated their job. It didn't do anything good for the atmosphere.....The restaurant it self was not clean, and big cob webs full of dust were...More

As we walked past all the crowded tourist restaurants in Trastevere on our way to another great lunch at Miraggio, my first thought was that it was too bad all these people didn't know they'd have a better -- certainly a more authentic -- experience...More

My family and I were in Rome for 3 days and this was the best meal we had. The lasagna is incredible, the pizza is amazing the crust was thin and light and I can't really think of anything bad to say about this restaraunt...More

We were recommended this restaurant as I said we wanted to eat where locals eat. Nothing flash, basic tables and chairs- but the food was delicious. We ate here 2 out of 3 nights with our 7 year old, who was well entertained by the...More

Been here a couple of times whilst in Rome on holiday and it's the best restaurant we've been to here. We've had amazing pizzas, and really satisfying parmigiana. Steak is good too, and the fried potatoes are amazing. Locals seem to rate it, will miss...More

More Italians than tourists go there. It's usually crowded and it has a lot of different dishes to choose. It worths a visit.

Good food but not so special. The place is very popular that's why it is not for romantic dinner or long talking with friends. Here you can find roman' kitchen , many people, noise and big portions.

I went to this restaurant with my husband on our first night in Rome and it was absolutely delicious. For starter we shared some mussels with tomato sauce and basil as well as mixed bruschetta. For main we had Ravioli al Pomodoro and Rigatoni with...More

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
