Great sushi place, festive atmosphere, fast service. High quality fresh dishes. Not a lot of selection for vegetarians, but that's a common thing in Japanese restaurants. We arrived without reservations and waited for ~20 minutes even though we were 2 people only, so better make reservations in advance.

My friend and I decided to try something other than Italian this particular night. He found Zen Sushi only a few blocks away from our Hotel. I called and made a reservation.. Arrived and was greeted immediately and seated at a perfect little table overlooking the gorgeous restaurant. My friend ordered a Sake taster... 5 different Sake shots so that... More

Walked in and went right through as we had reservations. The modern decor inside is appealing, with vibrant red ceilings and walls. As someone who loves sake, I was pleasantly pleased to learn they have tasting samples for 16 Euros. You get to try five different types of sakes. The waiter, Italian, didn't know much English but made great effort... More

This restaurant is terrible. It took them one hour to bring out the sushi and sashimi. When it finally arrived, every type of fish tasted the same, they all had no flavour. Not really Japanese, and a terrible rip off. Paying €250 for four people, in Italy, for Japenese that doesn't taste any good is not on. Anyone who's been... More

Great atmosphere and good variety in options on the conveyor belt that you pick off and pay by the color of plate. Some of the plates seemed pricy for what you actually got on it but we liked everything we chose. We got there only 15 minutes after they opened for dinner and had to wait 30 minutes on the... More

Right now in Roma there are many Japanese restaurants but this place is real Japanese food. Not mix by Chinese cuisine as many in Roma, but of course price is slightly high than other. Fresh fish and seafood, love all dishes here.

If you are tired of pizza's and pasta, or a sushi-addict like myself, this is a great place to go to! Good service, good wine and good sushi. Do make a reservation, because the place was packed when we visited on a tuesday night.

I love Japanese food, and this place is definitely the best in Rome. Since when you enter until you leave there is an excellent customer care. The food is fresh, have a different taste from the other restaurant, the colour of the fish is bright! You can order also tipical asian food. They also have a lot of variety of... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
