Tucked away we were lucky to find this only because it was near to our hotel. We were able to get a small table and realise we should have booked as it is obviously very popular and understandably so. It was our first meal in...More

We went for dinner and lucked into the only open table, probably the last serving. The penne with sausage was very good, just the right amount of sauce and sausage. The stuffed duck was not quite what we expected, it resembled an extravagant meat loaf,...More

We found ourselves in this local, non-tourist-route, restaurant because it is the current favourite of an Italian friend who lives in Rome. The food was excellent -- some distinctive regional dishes we had not had elsewhere -- and we had a delightful unhurried evening, helped...More

Dined here Thursday night, based on TA reviews. Off the beaten trap, so very few tourists, always our preference, very friendly waiters whose English is far better than my Italian.A great wine list and equally good food around €100 per couple for a 3 course...More

Had researched this restaurant in advance and confirmed a reservation. Busy place, lots of locals, great fun people watching. Service was smooth and attentive, food was very good.

Well nestled in Rome, Trattoria Monti will surprise you without any doubt. I had heard so much about it that I was expecting long waiting lines an extravagant place and a very « colorful » menu. Instead I was professionally greeted by a waiter that to my...More

We ate at this restaurant not once but twice during the lunch hours. The reason we went to this restaurant was that we saw on TV Franca Camerucci make a Tortello al Rosso D'uovo. After seeing this we decided that we needed to go to...More

I would phone them. Get your concierge or hotel reception to do this for you. There are so many reasonable good restaurants in the area you really can't go wrong.
