Great find and a welcome break from pasta and pizza. Lovely hosts and nice wine. Really enjoyed the food had shredded beef and oyster sauce with vegetable fried noodles 😊😊. Lovely.

I have been to this restaurant often and I must say that the food is really good. The spring rolls were perfect and full, the dumplings were amazing and the veal was incredible! I must say It was a very pleasant evening!

We were slightly worried with the many negative reviews but found that overall we did have a good meal. The staff were friendly and the restaurant itself was decorated well. The food had its ups and downs although mostly it was good. Having eaten in many Chinese restaurants across the UK and US, this one was okay, adjusting for the... More

Uneatable. They had fried ice cream on the menu which they fried in the same fry as chicken, beef and so on. Bland taste and meat as rubber. Don't go there

The price on the menu outside the restaurant is very obscure. Later we got in and ordered a plate of Cantonese fried rice €4.5, Gongbao Chicken €9.5 and noodle soup with veggies €10!!! Too expensive! Twice the price as those Chinese restaurants in Milan and Florence. We had noodle soup with pork which only cost €5 in Florence. What was... More

After reading mixed reviews here, I still decided to give this restaurant a shot. So I ordered with care for our dinner and it wasn’t so bad.  The sour and spicy soup, and wanton soup are on par with other chinese restaurants in Europe. The fried rice is good. The fried vegetables is very good. My disappointment is on the... More

We ate lunch here the other day and while we delighted in the atmosphere (lovely carved wood walls and sumptuous booths), the food was stunningly dull. Portions were also very small and quite costly given the very ordinary food. When the bill ultimately came, we were stunned to see that the non-bottled water we ordered (which was clearly from the... The food at Ruyi is always good, I especially like the duck. The restaurant is not very big and tends to be a bit dark as well. Don't turn up to early for lunch as they don't open before 12:30 I think. Highly recommended

Nothing too inspiring from the street. However the food is great, fresh and good prices. Duck and noodles dishes were spot-on, as were the dumplings. Good choice if you have had your fill of Roman food.

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
