The positive reviews lured us to this restaurant. Boy: what a deception. Expensive meals that have nothing to do with French cuisine, which I know farely good. Dry paté, onion soup with more cheese than flavour, dry chicken, ... . When we complained to the owner they answered: but we cook like this for over 40 years.... They were friendly... More

My father used to go here 40 years ago as a teenager. We had a blast taking him back here, where he says the food is just as good as he remembers. A really great break from Italian cuisine if you are living in Rome in the long term. The food is delicious, the waiter and chef extremely friendly -... More

We used to go almost every week, but due to our eyesight and our age we hadn't been there for some years. A chance visit of a cousin from the Italian mountains prompted us to dine there. Off we went with a taxi to the other side of Rome. The place hasn't changed, but sadly, Charly and his buddy were... More

The only thing I noticed about Italians and the French is that it's better not to mix their cuisine. As a result it is very difficult to find a good Italian pizzeria in France and a good French restaurant in Italy. And that is not an exception. So, when in Rome eat Italian food  The reason we dropped in... More

This restaurant is located just down the street from the Colisseum. The food was good but not very good French food. We go to France often and eat at different restaurants throughout the country. We did have our Steak Tartare prepared tableside along with the Crepes Suzette. Nice presentation and it was a nice change of pace from Italian food.... More

Food is really good, starting from the onion soup "soupe aux oignons" , passing through a worth and well served Bourguignonne, without forgetting the "escargot" proposal, .... up to an high level of taste for the Crêpe suzette. The accurate and careful service contributes to offer a great food experience.

Great house patè and cheese plate. The menu includes some simple and classic french dishes and is great if you need to satisfy a craving!

Excellent! I had the Escargots and Steak tartar (prepared at the table) there. Would definitely return.
