It couldn't be more true that you really need to eat where the other Roman's eat. Da Francesco serves good honest food at very reasonable prices. Best pizza's, fabulous burrata with dry tomatoes and anchovies and the tastiest view and roast potatoes I have had in a long time. Highly recommend the spaghetti vongole. Staff are very efficient and the... More

Great casual restaurant near Piazza Navona. Highly recommend. Sunday was extremely busy and we felt like we were sitting on top of one another, but this is typical in these types of European restaurants. (Monday was better) Had the pasta carbonara with black truffles and the mozzarella and black truffle pizza. Can't go wrong trying those. Delicious.

If you are wandering around piazza navona and what to eat a good pizza you can go there. You may have to wait a longer time than for the other restaurant but the quality is very good !

After three days of eating non-stop in Rome, we went for lunch at Da Francesco, by recommendation of our host at the Corso Vittorio 308 B&B (which was excellent to, by the way). We had a Tuna carpaccio, a Fungi pizza, a T-bone Steak, a Carchupi-a-la-romana and Classic Tiramisu for desert of course. All the dishes were delicious and perfectly... More

My daughter and I were recommended to go here by our hotel. Very authentic restaurant with very yummy food. We got there around 7:00 am but it filled up very quickly so don't get there too late. Also very friendly staff and English menus made the meal very fun and user friendly. Highly recommend.

Had a meal here on our first night in Rome, the food was ok but the service could have been better which would of gained them an extra star

Amazing food and fantastic service. All their pasta is freshly made and to die for (they have some fantastic truffle pasta dishes), and the pistachio tiramisu is food-coma worthy. Would recommend making a reservation - we had dinner here two nights in a row and witnessed the restaurant becoming full within 5 minutes of it opening its doors. We were... More

Went here for dinner and had a lovely Italian meal. We were greeted by very friendly staff and the service was first class. Very big selection of food on the menu, we went for the bolognese pasta and the fillet of beef with roast potatoes. Both meals were very nice and cooked perfectly. Well worth trying if you are near... More

For over fifty years the restaurant carries the name of the Roman culinary tradition with great respect for the old style and careful research for its variations and innovations . Typical menu of traditional Roman cuisine , spaghetti matriciana , oxtail, roast suckling pig , fettuccine gricia , saltimbocca alla romana , a good pizza.
